Jaideep Ahlawat felt bad about An Action Hero’s failure at the box office: ‘I felt yeh galat hai’

 The most recent movie in which Jaideep Ahlawat appeared alongside Ayushmann Khurrana was An Action Hero. Jaideep Ahlawat is a Bollywood actor who has appeared in films such as Raazi, Paatal Lok, and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar among others. The movie, though, finds a new home on Netflix after failing to make money at the box office in December 2022. Ahlawat has said that he was upset about this and believed it was unfair that the movie didn't perform well at the box office.

Jaideep Ahlawat responded in the affirmative when asked by Indian Express if the movie received the proper credit. I also feel a little sorry for Anirudh (Iyer), who is a first-time director and a fantastic filmmaker in addition to being a phenomenal human being. As a result, I felt a little sorry for him, the movie, and myself.

But, he continued, "when the movie appeared on OTT, everyone watched and liked it. I was also a little enraged. After seeing it on OTT, some people expressed their regret at not seeing the movie in a theatre. The movie was a hit with everyone who saw it in theatres or on OTT. Nobody has ever said, "Yeh kya bakwaas film hai," to my knowledge (what nonsense this is). I was saying, "Yeh samajh nahi aaya aise kyun hua," or "I don't know what went wrong." That feels strange. It was an incredibly complex Bollywood masala movie. There were so many components to it, and the movie touched on so many little social issues. Although the story was well-told, it demonstrated that "this is all happening in your immediate surroundings."
